The Burrow
Power Needed: 5 Charms

Card No: 6
Rarity: Rare/Foil

There are two ways to play this card. One way is obvious - try to empty your hand, gain actions in some way (Angelina Johnson, Unicorn, or Draco Slytherin), and then also deny actions to your opponent. That way, you'd derive a much greater benefit from the drawing than your opponent. Eh. I'd rather use Photo Album for draws, since then I don't have to worry about stopping my opponent from gaining an advantage from my card. Method two is harder to see, but more interesting. Attack your opponent with some continual hand discard, and this little baby will virtually damage them for four at the start of each of their turns. Garden Gnomes are useful to help with the discard, since their effect happens every turn. I wouldn't call this a strong deck concept. But it is funny, and style points should count for something.

This is an ok card. Late in the game, if you need to rebuild your hand, this card is great. But, you're also killing yourself while at it. It's ok if you have cards like Mid-Air Collision so you can discard it when you need too... =o

All this does is either help you draw cards or help decrease your opponent's deck. In my opinion, there are better cards that could do each of these. Charms is already a great lesson type for quality hand-discarding cards, which could possibly work well against your opponent, making him draw 4 cards a turn, assuming you get his hand down to zero before your turn is over. So while you're using your actions to condition your opponent, he could be focusing on something else instead, like winning.

In the right deck, this card could be really amazing. If you have a deck that uses a lot of actions, then this fits right in. Say for instance you have a revolving Money Deck. For instance, you have Sickles, Vault Keys, and Reparos or something like that so you always get a lot of actions.... Then this card saves you that many actions of drawing if you can dump your hand. Since you are playing Charms anyways, throw in some Dobby's Help so your opponent never benefits... this sounds like a fun deck... I think i wanna make it!! Most times though, i would rather see a Photo Album for drawing Power. Only benefit to burrow is that you don't HAVE to draw.... but its only if you have four or less cards..... plus since burrow is a location its easier to get rid of.
