Aardvark

I reviewed this card back in August. Since then, a new set has come out, but Chamber of Secrets hasn't appreciably altered the playability of this card. I have attempted to put Peeves into various decks. It's spooky how this exercise always seems to follow the same pattern. I keep putting him on my preliminary list of card options, only to have Peeves disappear when the final cuts are made. Oh well. He is a ghost, after all. Still:

Enraged

Griphook’s best friend if you ask me. Not only does he refill your hand he helps drain your opponents hand with this guy and Griphook you are guaranteed to take at least 14 cards off of your opponents deck!

If you like your opponent to draw a lot of cards, this card is for you! You get a new hand yourself but it's 7 virtual damge to both of you. This card is like griphook except is 7 cards and not the number of cards in a hand. This card is pretty good in a VTJ/DH deck so if you have deck like that use this card.

This guy sort of combines both principles at work in the previous two cards we've reviewed. The discard and draw on your opponent like Griphook, and the fact that it happens to both players, like with Colin. The main difference is instead of drawing the same number as before, you seven, no more no less. So if you opponent has a big hand, he looses it and gets cut down to seven, while if you have a small hand, you sacrifice it and gain more cards to use. Awesome. =) Enraged must have been a genious when he picked the cards this week. ;')
