prefect_adam says, "That's correct, though the player may solve the Pep Talk and
then use the action normally."
prefect_profo says, "So you can solve it before it makes you draw the card?"

prefect_adam says, "Yes. Solving an adventure may be done before you take any
of your actions. Once Pep talk is gone, you can start using your actions
normally right away. The effect of Pep Talk doesn't last the whole turn like
with some other cards (Hagrid needs help, for example.)"

near my town and none were doing it, but a local store gave me a pack but no
tourney since they didnt have many players. :/"

after you know your spell has dealt damage. If Potion Ingredient is used,
Wood simply wouldn’t use his ability."

cards if I don't play any cards, correct? However, my opponent can
still use Actions, like drawing a card, solving the adventure, trying to win
the Match in play and using a character's ability, so long as it doesn't entail
putting a card into play, correct? Is there anything else my opponent can do?"

start seriously building a deck of their own?"

trading, probably a good 20+boosters before your going to have a nice staple of
rares to play with."

just the right direction without constantly searching boosters for just the
right card"

prefect_adam says, "Before I worked at Wizards, my TCG collection was pretty
small (one cardbox, basically) but I had exactly the cards I wanted for my
decks. Now I've got a rediculous number of cards and I've lost my ability
to trade entirely. /ga"

new Prof. Minerva McGonagal deck, whom I also like. I obviously like
Fluffy. I think one of the most useful new cards is Hagrid needs Help.

heard about them once at the toy-fair but thats about it... /ga"

them...no idea. The idea of Pre-Constructed decks is something we have
address with some care. They are a tricky thing to be successful with,
though I personally wish they were out there if for no other reason to make
Lessons easier to get. /ga"

League in January 2002?"

prefect_adam says, "We know that Books-A-Million, Hastings, Wizards of the Coast
will be interested including Borders, Zany Brainy, some Toys R Us stores and
maybe even a Wal-Mart or two. Those last ones are a little up in the air
and may not be on board at the start. Smaller specialty game stores,
particularly ones that hosted Pokemn league are your best bet if one of the big
chains aren't nearby. /ga"

I personally like playing with the non-holo ones so they don't get scratched.
