We’re actually not too sure which Killer Frost this figure represents. The
first KF was Crystal Frost, Dr. Martin Stein’s girlfriend. What? You don’t
know who Martin Stein is? Shame on you…he’s the other half of the original
Firestorm! Anyway an accident removed all warmth from her body, and gave
her the ability to control ice and cold. The second KF was Dr. Frost’s
assistant who replicated the accident that gave her boss her powers.
First and foremost, this is
one of the nicest sculpts of any Heroclix in my opinion. I LOVE what they
do with the clear plastic, it really brings out the details of the sculpts,
and of course, there’s no need for messy paint applications. I guess the
nice thing about this figure is that it’s also an REV and it’s an easy REV
to collect, so you should have no problem pulling one. That’s also the bad
part, because look at the pricing review below!
The figure isn’t much to
write home about though. The SS TA isn’t fantastic, as I mentioned
yesterday, and this piece doesn’t have high enough stats to warrant the
cost. So basically you have a pretty collection piece, and not much more.
I suppose if you needed the SS TA for a wild-card you could waste 54 points
for the Experienced version…but I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t just go
with Deadshot instead.

Pricing Commentary – REV sets that don’t include a rare
figure often times get lost in the dust of the frenzy to collect Rares and
Uniques. Unfortunately for this brilliant sculpt, this figure is no
exception. If you pay more than a couple bucks for this REV set, you’re
getting ripped off.
