Todays review is a very powerful pog, makes you wonder what wizkids was thinking. For 9 points you get 20 movement, 15 attack, 21 defense, 4 damage, and 14 range. All of these stats are stellar, if you didnt doubt qizkids point formula before, you do now. Sure shes a pg, giving her only one click of life, and making her unpushable, but this is a pog that could smack even aries or superman for some damage. That being said this isnt really a pog you want to mastermind down to, seeing as how she is more powerful than doom himself. Dont be suprised if you sit down at a tournament table to find your opponent feilding a whole team of these. In that case, your only hope is energy explosion and pulse wave. Or you could always hope for a lucky earthquake roll.

Ma Huckle during a freak lightening accident, while the justice league was trying to save her from Brainiac (who had downloaded himself into her pie), gained all of the powers of the Justice League.  She defeated Brainiac and eventually gave back the powers.  Every now and again she likes to send the Justice League a pie shaped like Brainiac.  She’s a wacky old woman.  In a later issue, Batman tried to kill her, because he thought she was Brainiac.  Not a very good issue, but Batman gets a pie in the face and that is just classic.

A WORD ON POGS (same as last review):  I personally hate the Pogs.  I dislike the idea that they can be used in competitive play to tie up figures or hide behind with trick shot.  Nubula with 10 Aunt May Pogs and trick shot, pretty much can not be killed.  The Fact that a veteran Superman needs to “break away” with Iris West-Allen seems ridiculous to me.  I love getting that something extra in the pack and I love the idea of doing a “save Aunt May” scenario, but if we are talking competitive tournament, the Pogs can be way too abused.  I hate playing with them, but I do when I really want to win.

Cost and Abilities:

POG = 9 Points, 1 clicks of life, 14 range / 1 targets, no team ability

Movement: 20 in movement.  She gained the Flash’s movement.  But how good is 20 movement without Hypersonic Speed.  Answer:  Might as well be only 3 movement.

Attack:  15, Superman’s power, but let’s face it you still have to roll a 5 when attacking KC Green Lantern.  She doesn’t even have Pulse Wave.  Personally I don’t play it, if it doesn’t have Pulse Wave.

Defense: 21, Here is where I can find some positive points.  21 defense is pretty good, but if you roll a 12 you’re going to hit her.  Then boom she is dead and you just wasted nine points that could have gone towards a feat card.

Damage:  4. it’s okay, but against great damage protection all you can do is 2 damage.  2 damage?!?!  Rookie Spoiler can do 2 damage.

Sculpt:  Best Sculpted Pog ever!

Team Ability: NONE.  Nine points and no team ability.  Wiz Kids, you disappoint me often.  L

Overview:  Ma Huckle has great story and makes a mean Brainiac Pie, but she won’t see much competitive Play.  If you think about it, Galactus is only 1591 points more and he has lot more clicks then her and his attack is only 1 point lower.  Galactus and rookie Spoiler are going to be your Best Bet to win games the April 1rst.

How to Beat Him:  I suggest punching your opponent and throwing Ma Huckle into your mouth.  When your opponent asks what happened to her.  Simply kick him in the junk and tell everyone he touched you in the no-no places.  I won states last year on that strategy.

Overall Score:

Some things shouldn’t have scores, just pictures of me shaking my head no.  NO!
