Today
we are going to be looking at the newly previewed
Wolverinefrom Fantastic Forces
As
a child Wolverine was my hero. So when I visited
New York I went to see A BOY FROM OZ a musical off
Broadway show starring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine). At
first I was a little displeased by Wolverine dancing
and singing. Then Wolverine married Liza Minnelli
Later Wolverine grabbed a man and started kissing
him. For the first time in my life…I started to
cry.
Cost and Abilities:
Unique
71 points. 7 clicks of life. 0 range/ single
target. X-Men Ability
Movement:
8
with charge for 3 clicks.
Attack:
12,11,11,10,10,9,8 Blades claws for most of the
dial.
Defense
16 starting with toughness for 3 clicks.
Regeneration for the last 3 clicks.
Damage:
2 for the entire dial.
Sculpt:
Wolverine with a stripe in his hair. At least it’s
not a sculpt of him kissing a guy,.
Team Ability:
X-Men swap a click ability. It has proven to be
useful.
Feats:
Automatic regeneration is almost always worth it on
Wolverine.
Battle Field Condition
:
Darkness and anything that limits range.
How to Beat Him:
Shoot him before he can get to you.
How to Play Him:
Telekinesis into battle then charge and use blades.
Hope for a lucky role.
Overview:
I was shocked to find out that they were making a
Wolverine figure in this set of heroclix. Wolverine
is the most underground of all marvel characters.
Can you read the sarcasm? Either way this Wolverine
is decent and has the charge that many of the other
lack, but with no range and not a very long dial,
he’s not worth playing in my mind. But none of the
Wolverines are so this is probably one of the better
ones out there.
