Today we'll be reviewing Armstrong Levy from Sinister

Armstrong Levy was the lesser-known cousin to Stretch Armstrong.  Jealous of his cousins incredible power to stretch all the all into “next week”, Levy did some toxic experiments on himself.  The side effects horribly scarred his face and he was forced to become The Invincible's archenemy known as Captain Fugly.

Unique: 80 points, No Team

MOVEMENT:  Phasing will help set up his Perplex of Outwit.

ATTACK: 9 attack and then 10… looks like we have another push click character on our hands.  Incap with 6 range and 1 target is a joke.

DEFENSE:  16 with Willpower… Captain Fugly is starting to look familiar… hmm.  The Mastermind on his second click definitely makes him a pusher.

DAMAGE:  1 damage with Perplex…. Wait… this is really familiar.  He definitely needs that Outwit on his second click.

SCULPT:  Even his sculpt reminds me of somebody…

FEATS:  Mastermind and Outwit usually warrants Fortitude… but I don’t know.  Incontact would mean he could hit for nearly as much as a POG… I would skip all of it and hope people ignore him.

OVERALL:

*       Low defense and Willpower

*       1 Damage and Perplex

*       Incap and a 9 attack to start

*       Classic super villains pose with an ugly freak face…

*       Wait a minute… He’s THE LEADER.  HE IS A SLIGHTLY CHEAPER VERSION OF THE WORST CLICK EVER MADE!!!!

*       At this Point and time you would normally be looking at a picture of the Leader or his terrible dial.  But since Wizkids search engine is down… again.  Pretend you saw it J

*       SEE!!!!

Wow, Leader is amazingly bad and now they made a slightly cheaper version of him MINUS THE MIND CONTROL!!!!   I entered a build the worst team possible tournament and switch with your opponent.  For this game I brought The Leader and we found out he truly is the worst figure ever made for the points.  If you must play an Armstrong go home and bust out Stretch… he’s the coolest.

HE RECEIVES 0.5 OUT OF A POSSIBLE 5 THUMBS UP!

Good, Bad, I’m the Guy with the Clix

FUN FACT:  If every American replaced just ONE light in their home with a florescent light it would be the equivalent of taking 100 million cars off the road.  Global Warming is real.

Today's review is Angstrom Levy from Invincible

 If your are not a fan, check Whoclix.

He is an Experienced, 80 points, 6 clicks of life, 6 range 1 target, and no team

Speed: 12,8,8,7,7,10   Phasing all the way

Attack: 9,10,9,9,9,9   Incapacitate first three

Defense:  16,16,16,15,15,14    Willpower for one, then Mastermind for 3, then Willpower

Damage:  1,1,1,1,1,1   Perplex for one, 2 of Outwit,  then another 2 of Perplex

The Good:  Able to move wherever he wants

      Has some helpful abilities

      High, consistent attack points

The Bad:   No damage really

     6 range is not that great

     1 target sucks with Incap

     Should have started with Mastermind

     Shallow Dial

Feats:   Eh, ICWO if you want, Protected is a must, Armor Piercing helps do damage

Overall:  For the fans of Ambush Bug, here is his tougher big brother…who is also 30 more points.  He is a Con Artist/Black Panther blend who can attack and has range.  The problem is that is if you are going to be spending 80 points on a piece, you need him to be a secondary attacker and not a pure support piece.  He can attack though, but his lack of damage and bad range does not sit well with me.  I will play him from time to time in friendly games or in say a grab bag if I pick him.  Personally, I just like Ambush Bug a lot more.

Constructed/Unrestricted: 3 / 5

Sealed/Draft: N/A / 5

Overall: 3 / 5
