Average Rating: 2.50

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale
1 being the worst. 3 ... average.
5 is the highest rating

Rurouni KJS Really don't have much to say about this guy, so here comes my digest format.

Rookie Copperhead
boot speed
60 points
Team: Batman Enemy
Keywords: "Gotham City"
Range: 0 x 1

DIAL:
http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/dc/figures_dials.asp?dialid=10877&unitid=12567&universeid=6

ANALYSIS:
R Copperhead's not good for much else besides tie-up.
A full dial of Plasticity and Combat Reflexes means he can perform the task admirably. Too bad he's got two front-loaded clicks of Incapacitate bloating his price beyond what you want to pay for a sacrifice piece.
Makes the feats ENTANGLE or DAMAGE SHIELD a bit less inviting. The cheaper VAULT is the better choice.
Maximize his use by teaming him with high AV wildcards or fellow Batfoes.

RATING: 2 of 5. But he CAN occassionally pull his weight.

================================

Experienced Copperhead
boot speed
79 points
Team: Suicide Squad
Keywords: "Suicide Squad"
Range: 2 x 1

DIAL:
http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/dc/figures_dials.asp?dialid=10878&unitid=12567&universeid=6

ANALYSIS:
Plasticity, Plasticity...a full dial of it again. And more opening Incap to pump his cost. But he holds his
9 Attack Value a click longer and sports Close Combat Expert his first two slots. Blades/Claws/Fangs makes an appearance after that, and Exploit Weakness shows in the end. With Combat Reflexes following a short opening run of Toughness, Copperhead remains a close-combat tie-down specialist. But now he can fight some...which makes losing the Bat Enemy TA a blow. He can use the same feats as the Rookie.

RATING: 2 of 5. Increased cost, lesser TA drag down better attack powers.

================================

Veteran Copperhead
boot speed
88 points
Team: Calculator
Keywords: "Animal" "Society"
Range: 2 x 1

DIAL:
http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/dc/figures_dials.asp?dialid=10879&unitid=12567&universeid=6

ANALYSIS:
Starting with a great Defense Value, this wildcard suddenly has a place on shared-defense squads. But at heart Vet Copperhead is still a tie-up figure, with a single Leap/Climb granting him the power to get into an enemy's face before Plasticity kicks in the rest of the dial. Exploit Weakness, BCF and CCE early on mean he can do a bit of fighting. And as a wildcard, even his sagging AV late-dial may be rectified with some TA help -- making that full back-half of BCF not just wasted ink. ENTANGLE is the best feat for him, but it'd be better if it could protect his best DV click.

RATING: 2.5 of 5. Awfully expensive for a glorified tie-up piece.

Today's review is Copperhead from Origin

No idea who this guy is, but he was on Justice League Unlimited, so that is good enough for me.

The rookie is a decent tie-up piece, and his team can help his low attack values.  The experienced has the Suicide Squad team, but really doesn’t do too much for me.  The vet is a wildcard with a huge opening defense.  None of these pieces really do anything for me, so I am going to just go with the vet.

He is 88 points, 2 range 1 target, 8 clicks of life, no AE, Calculator team

Speed:  He can get a pounce in then be a annoying tie-up piece

Attack:  Not great, incap sucks with one target, but the BCF can get you doing some damage if your lucky

Defense:  Starts really high, stays decent up close, super senses could give him an extra turn of life late dial

Damage:  EW doesn’t work with pounce but it can get that 2 damage in, the CCE can keep the damage decent, nanobots potential the whole time

The Good:  Big opening defense

Can do damage the whole time

      Wildcard

The Bad:   Attack values aren’t great

Kind of costly for what you get

2 range is odd, but useful I guess

    Incap with one target

Feats:   Nanobots and pounce work good on him, entangle works for 7/8 clicks

Overall:   Here is a piece that we don’t see often, one dripping with plasticity.  He is not really a bad piece, but he is just one that I personally cannot see myself using.  I can see him being a very annoying character, but he will not do anything really game-breaking in a game, unless you get him to tie up your opponents force for a long time.  With an 8 click dial, he can be in the game for a long time. He is a wildcard, so that gives him some more playability.

Constructed/Unrestricted:  2.5 / 5

Sealed/Draft:  2 / 5

Overall:  2.5 / 5
