Tuesday, June 30, 2009  The Ninth WoW Expansion Launches Today: Fields of Honor. Fields of Honor introduces a new way to play the World of Warcraft TCG: Warsong Gulch rules. Use your existing World of Warcraft TCG cards with an alternate rules set, which will be included on some UDE Points cards. Horde and Alliance Flag cards will be randomly inserted to assist with this fun style of play. We have more details in our Warcraft Section today. 

Monday, June 29, 2009  We received a Press Release from Konami about the TCG National Championships taking place in Pittsburgh in July.  This Press Release contains prize information, event information and more.  We posted the full press release on our Yugioh Site today.

The Upper Deck Company announced Friday a deal with Marvel Entertainment, Inc. The multi-year arrangement provides Upper Deck with the rights to produce trading card games, miniature games and trading cards based on the Marvel Universe. The first wave of products is scheduled to hit the market in January 2010.  More details in Today's News. 

Wednesday, June 24, 2009  The folks at Wizards of the Coast sent us the artwork for 5 cards from the forthcoming Magic 2010 set. We're going to review them over the next 5 days on our Magic the Gathering Site. 

Friday, June 19, 2009  Bejose and BMoor have deck fixes for you in their Deck Garages on our MTG Site today.  A reminder, BMoor is running a 5 color deck-building contest where several people will win some cool DCI Promo cards.  If you like to build MTG decks, you should give this a try!  Oh, we also have details on a new MTG Graphic Novel, and the new MTG XBox Live game gives you the opportunity to duel Richard Garfield and Pros!

Tuesday, June 16, 2009  Upper Deck introduces the Death Knight class to the WoW TCG with a new starter. "Every 36-card Death Knight starter deck includes three Ghoul token cards. The 17-card Death Knight pack includes one new hero and 16 other exclusive cards to enhance the Death Knight class. The death and destruction begins on June 16 with the Death Knight Deluxe Starter!" Wednesday, May 13, 2009  Wizards of the Coast announced a new product for Magic: The Gathering.  Planechase (symbol is on the right) is a whole new way to experience your favorite game.  This multiplayer, casual format simulates planeswalking by adding a new card to the game.  Through this brand new card type, players can battle each other across a variety of diverse worlds, each with its own unique effect on the game.  We have more details and artwork in our MTG Section today.

Friday, May 1, 2009   The Upper Deck Company has announced its 2009 Season 3 WoW Realm Championships will be taking place at a Realm near you. On May 16 and 17, World of Warcraft Trading Card Game players from around the globe will gather at one of 18 different Realms to compete for fame and prizes totaling more than $10,000 per venue. Players will be battling for prizes that include a $2,500 travel voucher, electronics, and other exciting rewards. In addition, the WoW Miniatures Game Realm Championships will be held simultaneously at the same venues as the WoW TCG competitions and will feature a similar lineup of prizes. Tuesday, March 10, 2009  UDE's World of Warcraft “Spectral Safari" event is this weekend.  It features a Spectral Tiger Loot card as the grand prize. Upper Deck sent us a Press Release stating: "A California court has denied Konami’s application for a temporary selling and shipping ban, effectively stopping any restrictions that would have prevented Upper Deck from marketing, selling, distributing and providing game support for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game." Tuesday, December 9, 2008   The World of Warcraft Miniatures Deluxe Edition, hits streets today, and features six total figures (three each from two different factions), as well as one of three high quality game maps, an enhanced Beginner’s Guide, UBases, Character and Action Bar cards for each figure, and custom dice. Additionally, each Deluxe Edition guarantees the player a World of Warcraft Drums of War Loot card!  We have more details in our Warcraft Section today.
