Trash in limited.

In constructed, could be used in decks with Mobilization, Centaur Glade, or Dragon Roost to reduce costs and up productivity.  In Extended, you could acutally go infinite with Roost or Mobiliztion if you have enough on the board and a Skyshroud Elf.  Look-out - this card might just be combolicious good.

Constructed: 4 (potential in a combo deck)
Limited: 1

Mana Echoes looks like a fun card, if only it cost 2 or maybe 3. Unfortunately, it costs 4. Therefore, you will typically be out (or nearly out) of cards in hand when you cast this, and therefore, it won't be of much use.

Don't even think about playing it in limited. Sealed, you won't have enough of a given creature type for it to matter, and in draft, there's many better cards you can pick.

Maybe somebody smart like Hatter or Scotty can figure out a good use for this card. I like red cards that do 2 things: 1) turn sideways and attack and 2) burn opponent in his/her freakin' head. That's it and all you need. This card gets a 1 until one of you teeming millions who read this column show me otherwise...I dare you.

I really, really don't like this card.  It's just not
that good.  If it cost was one or two, it might not be
too bad.  But it's not, so it sucks.  You could build
a deck around it, but I'm not gonna waste my time with
it.  I'll stick to Lightning Rift, thank you.  BTW,
it's only higher in Limited since you might have a
fatty you want to cast.

Wow. This card could really be abused. Elf-ball decks
could really have fun with this card.

If we try and use it honestly we run into problems.
What deck could use this?
Sligh: no - its too expensive.
Counterburn: no - not enough creatures.
G/R aggro: no - wild mongrel, basking rootwalla and
arrogant wurm are all different creatue types.
This card gets a 2 in constructed.

This plain sucks in limited. A 1.
