B.F.M. (Big Furry Monster)

This creature gets more comments than almost any other when we're lucky enough to have one in our case.  You definitely have to work a constructed deck around him that's made to get him (and other fatties) into play, because there is almost no way you're going to hold someone off until you see 15 Swamps (if you do, then this guy probably wouldn't make a difference anyhow.) So now, let's say you are creative enough to find a way to get both halves into your hand (Eladamri's Call or something) and then get it into play (Timmy, Power Gamer or Elvish Piper).  You've got a 99/99 beats machine, and you didn't even have to play swamps to do it  =).

"Attack with The Biggest, Baddest, Nastiest, Scariest Creature You'll Ever See...."

*Gulp.....*   =/

PS: For those of you that are interested in seeing more, the cards from this set are completely hilarious! If you'd like to see pictures of some of the cards, you can See Them Here.  Just click on Non Foil Singles, then find the link to Unglued, and after you click on it, you can click on the card names to see the pics of each card. =)

I'm kind of spilt on this review. On one hand, | you have a 99/99. On the other hand,
most traditional reanimation strategies won't | work, as this is 2 cards. If you can get
this guy out and swing, it's game, otherwise, | don't bother.

Funny, but hardly effective.  It's like having a 2 card combo...  that's
expensive and hard to resolve.
constructed - 2.7
limited - 1.1

BFM is a win if it comes into play and there are a number of ways (Living Death, Timmy, Power Gamer) to help it hit the table. As long as you can draw into both cards he is well worth it. Best to design a deck around him rather than add him to a deck.

Constructed – As I said, good enough to build a deck around – 3.85

Limited – You will never get the mana or the whole combo – 0.00

The biggest creature(s) in the game also has the most mana intensive cost at 15 black, but you get what you pay for.  Reanimator decks are about the only way to consistently get this huge monster into play.  Once in play this beast of beasts will obliterate your opponent and their creatures in mere seconds.

Ltd:  Both halves are rare so it won't be easy getting both pieces for your deck let alone surviving long enough to get all the black needed to summon this monstrosity.

Constructed: 2

Limited: 0.5
