Planar Chaos - uh...wtf?  Okay, I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Wizards of the Coast has a little research and development group called "The Random Card Division."  This is alongside "The Broken Card Division," "The Timmy Card Division"  and "The Eh Card Division," along with a few others.  As you can see when you look at Planar Chaos, it was designed by The Random Card Division.  Many Random cards often share similar characteristics, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • coin flips

  • wacky high casting costs

  • the color red

  • demonstrate no clear advantage to a person over their opponent if they played that particular card

  • the word "Chaos" in its name

  • a general ability to make the unlucky owner of it either scratch their head, cry (especially if it's a rare), or decide to use it for toilet paper

Now, no one is quite sure why Wizards has this team, or why they are actually paid money to commit these crimes of cardness. One can only assume that they are either a) retarded, or b) they are sick sadistic fooks who find some kind of glee in our disappointment. Maybe both.

And now, that being said, on to my review:

No.

 Planar Chaos
a card with an uncertain effect for an uncertain duration.  And it doesn't
cost 1 mana and cantrip.  Nor does it gaurantee even breaking even for card
economy.
constructed 1
limited 1

A card that helps stop coin flip cards from backfiring. Unfortunetly if it flips a coin and doesnt do something amazing either way... it almost always is terrible. This unfortunately is no exception. Bad in limited and constructed.

My first Card of the Day.  Cool huh?  And it's a really easy one.  The
first rule about any coin flip card is don't play it no matter how good its
ability looks.  If you want coin flips, go play Pokemon. (No offence to
Pokemon players.  I'm just saying that Pokemon has a lot of coin flips.)
However, if you have a rigged coin (which is cheating) then you should
definitely play this card.
  In Limited.... yeah.

Constructed: 1 (5 if you have a rigged coin.)
Limited: 1
