Parallax Wave was a
great card in a lot of decks. The ability to
take creatures off the board for a couple of
turns helped the control decks set up their
control without losing too much life. If this
were in the environment today, it would be
AMAZING, considering the number of token
creatures out there. As it was, this found a
home in a lot of decks. When Extended rotates in
November, we might just see this card getting
some play again.
In limited, this
isn't as good, as taking the creatures off the
board usually didn't do much except for allowing
an Alpha strike. You want real removal, not just
|You know, I was never a
fan of this card. That by no means is saying
it wasn't good. I just did not like it
much. It was a fragile effect that needed a
fast result to be good. It certainly had it
place in constructed, though.
In limited, it's a no brainer. Being able
to wipe out 5 critters for one turn and serve wins
games. Being able to wipe out 4 for 2 turns
or 3 for 3 turns can have the same effect

card was definitely a headache to deal with in
constructed. It can even be used in
agressive decks to remove blockers for one or two
I think this card is just as good in limited.
Anything that can break a stalemate, or even save
your creatures is a great card to have on your
side in limited environments.
The wave is a good, good card. Close to being
broken, but not quite.
Playable in every format, works great in white
weenie or in Replenish decks.
One of the defining cards of MBC. I know it
doesn't seem true but White was actually really
good just a short while ago! It sure was fun
playing with cards like this, Rebels, Mageta,
Story Circle, Blinding Angel, etc. Now we
get Eager Cadet! Yeah buddy!!

none, finding 4 copies of itself into
Replenish decks, Rebel decks, and a first pick in
any limited environment.
Imagine it today in a field of tokens, creatures
that recieve +1/+1 tokens,
etc. A 4.5 in Constructed, a 5 in Limited.
