Ignore Constructed (seems to be a theme thus far).

3 power flier that swings for 3 on turn 4.  A little more butt - survives a crown, but dies to most everything else.  I don't like that once it's in the air, it's there for good.  Super-high flier, a.k.a. the new Shadow.  About as good as Dreamer, in my opinion for blue fliers.

Ascending Aven - You won't see him in serious constructed. In limited, he morphs for a better cost than some other flyers, but he can't block ground pounders.  Though, he does have morph and flying, and if you're going blue, I'd take him mid to late in draft, and I'd play him in sealed for his evasion ability

A 3/2 super high flier for 4. Unfortunately, like yesterday, outside of maybe one block deck, this thing is useless. This even has double blue in the casting cost, so it's harder to cast.

In limited, there's really nothing you can do with this. If you can get blue paired with some removal, maybe you can win with fliers like this. Generally, I would pass though.

Constructed - 2
Limited - 2

Another excellent limited clock for blue,  though not as versatile and a tad
more expensive  than the seaswift.  He may see constructed play in a
creature heavy blue deck that already has it's contingent of swifts.

limited 3.3

Ascending Aven is another solid card for Blue. As a Soldier and Bird it has some advantages in that department but mostly a decent costed aggressive flyer is nice – and morphing to kill a flyer isn’t too bad either.

Constructed – A decent card that is priced right, nothing special under the hood though – 2.85

Limited – The Morph cost helps to get around double Blue – a solid pick – 3.10

PEZ – Maybe a bit better than the Mistforms from early in the week but still not what Blue is looking for – 2.50

Yay!! Another damn flyer who won't see much play in Constructed, or any for that matter. In Limited he's pretty decent and if you pull enough flyers you can scare your opponent and race him but as soon as mass removal hits you = screwed.

Must rate better cards..... x_X

Constructed 2

Limited 3.1

Another 3 power flier for four but with the added bonus of a double blue in the casting cost and the nice little "Can only block creatures with flying." to make up for the huge two toughness this guy is sporting. On the plus sides it does morph and the creature types might allow this guy to make his way into a Keeper of the Nine Gales deck.

Limited: 3/2 flying morph creature with good creature types.

Constructed: 3

Limited: 3.5

Of all the fliers so far this week, this one is the best.  I do like the fact that it morphs and can surprise people.

However, the best part of this card are it's creature types.  It's both a bird and a soldier and that comes into play more often than you would imagine.

This guy is a great pick in limited, but so far has proven nothing in constructed.

The original gangster for big blue flyers a set back when the draft was on-on-on. Its still one of the best common blue flyers in limited currently. I think the Mistform Dreamer is the best blue flyer for ons limited. Although this guys the best bigger cousin for ons. A solid pick, just don't forget- it can't block non-flyers, therefore its must do what its best at- swing and race the opponent. Morphing may kill some of your tempo if your not careful.

And of course, this is not a constructed card!

Constructed: 1
Limited: 3.5
