So, this thing adds blue or black to your mana
pool. That's neat and all, but it will likely
only find it's way into slower decks. This type
of mana fixing doesn't lend itself well to the
beatdown type decks. This is goes even more so
for blue and black. All the signets should see
some level of play, just not a lot.
A nice card for limited Rav block play. The
Signets all give you a bit of accelleration, and
also smooth out your mana. Not so great for fast
decks, but for Blue/Black, which tends to be
very controllish in Rav block, it's a very nice
addition.

Dimir Signet
Although
they may look similar, all Signets are not
created equal. The Dimir Signet is perhaps the
most important of all of them. Blue and black
suffer from an apalling lack of mana generating
cards, generally. This signet is a small thing
that goes a long way to helping the problem.
Blue and black also have a lot of color-mana
intensive cards between them. The signet helps
with that too. In limited, the Signets have
already proven their mettle, and I don't doubt
that they'll find a place in Ravnica Block
Constructed as well. I'm particlarly fond of
this one for it's ability to get your Vedalken
Entrancers online one turn earlier.
