 Sword of the Chosen

This was very much a throw-away card when it first appeared, at least as far as limited or the more popular constructed formats were concerned. Today, however, the card would be much better. If this card were in the Kamigawa block, it would be somewhat popular in limited and possibly popular in Kamigawa block constructed. Actually, for what Sword of the Chosen does, it is very decent.

 Sword of the Chosen

Considering that the Kamigawa environment is heavily laden with Legends, Sword is a little more meaningful now. More fun in casual decks, and if you're going the Legend route and get a hold of one of these, throw it in there for fun. In limited, Stronghold was before my time, so I'm not sure how useful Sword would be. But let's face it...not too many drafts involving Stronghold packs are a reality, so no worries. =)

Constructed - 2.5
Casual - 3.5
Limited - 2.5
