Sword of the Paruns

This tricky piece of equipment will be very good in limited play but may not

be very popular in constructed play. The only problem for this card in limited play is the number three: it costs three mana to play, three mana to equip and three mana to activate. Nevertheless, this equipment will help a wide variety of draft decks attack more aggressively. Of course, the cool move will be to attack with your creature equipped with the Sword and then, when combat damage has been put on the stack, to untap him to increase his defense and to have him ready to block on your opponent's turn.

This card is interesting. The three mana cost to cast, activate, and equip it will hold it back in constructed environments. Casual players should like this card though as it provides a bonus for everyone. Limited players will enjoy it mostly due to the small tricks you can pull off with it.

Very interesting. Sometimes cards like this are unwieldly to use, but this one could be really good if you can pull it off. If the activation costs were 2 instead of 3, it would be amazing. But the 3 cost may still get the job done - we'll have to see how it works out in real decks over time. In limited, a very solid equipment card. Easy to play in any build because it's an artifact, so it's a quick pick in draft, and an auto include in sealed deck.
