Mystical Teachings
Search spells are good. This one lets you search twice. And it can be any instant, or any card with flash. Why isn't Needlebug legal when we need it?

Friday - Mystical Teachings

A defining card in Standard and (especially) Block Constructed last year. This card was the centerpiece of a strong U/B control deck that could tutor up answers whenever needed. The fact that this has Flashback as well is what puts this over the top and makes it such a good card. It can also go fetch creatures with Flash, which is why this is Teferi's best friend (with Teferi out, you can tutor for any creature in your deck with this).

In limited, it's not nearly as useful because you probably won't have very many targets, and if you do find your combat trick with this, you can't bluff it anymore.

Mystical Teachings

Like its predecessor and near-namesake from Mirage, Mystical Teachings is a very powerful card; more often than not, an instant provides an answer, and having one nearly at will is an amazing asset for a control deck. It even provides card advantage by getting a second card in the long game, provided enough mana. What's not to like?
