If yesterday's COTD was equivalent to Tarmogoyf, this is equivalent to Watchwolf. It's capable of swinging for three on its own, or buffing up another guy. Even when it's not exalting, it's a 2/2 for 2 that lets you run maindeck answers to artifacts and enchantments. Sigil of the Empty Throne got you down? Dont' waste sideboard slots on Naturalize; put this in your two-drop slot and fear no more!

Qasali Pridemage

There's so much to like about this card. He's a powerful creature who makes your other creatures more powerful. He's got an ability that's never been more relevant, thanks to people's love of shiny artifacts and spells. Oh, and did I mention that Chris Rahn is really, really talented?

Magic The Gathering COTD: Qasali Pridemage

Welcome back today we have another of the most efficient creatures printed in recent memory. For a white and a green mana you get a bear with the added bonus of Exalted, paying 1 of any color mana and sacrificing it transforms it into a Disenchant, it’s versatile as a beater and can deal with troublesome artifacts and enchantments. An added bonus is the fact it is itself maindeckable artifact and enchantment removal that is never a dead slot if the opponent is not playing artifacts or enchantments. Overall one of the greatest combinations of versatility and efficiency. If you’re playing G/W there is little excuse not to run this creature as a beater and an answer to artifacts and enchantments. Outside of constructed player will like the flex ability this card provides when facing multiple opponents in casual and multiplayer not knowing what they are running giving you a decisive advantage over other players.
