Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu

Card Number: 077
Rarity - C

Review Date: 12.05.06

Average Card Rating: 3.75

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the worst.
3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Playdoh Dude Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu

Hey guys, haven't seen ya' in awhile! I keep chickening out on writing the CotDs, but I'm finally gona start reviewing SERIOUSLY again. Today we've got Twin Snake Sacrficing Jutsu. This is requiring a S Jonin or higher, so those of who who still run Fire/Water can plug Hayate into this. The effect is simple: the guy you use blows up, along with an opponent. This is incredibly useful late-game: throw away a Ebisu for Zabuza/Hayate/Roach. It is amazing, but it has just 1 drawback in my eyes.
This can only take out the nin you're fighting against, so if they send out Kakashi[ES] first and you use it on him, then they can just send out a Zabuza next attack. Also, if you are behind in field presence, then getting rid of Kakashi and your Ebisu won't matter, you're still behind. Although it'll get rid of an annoying ninja, and at an amazing cost thats easily splashed, it still has a couple bad points.

LIMITED: 4/5. Any card that has a small Jutsu cost, amazing effect, and in a COMMON, well, lets just use a 'g' word that rhymes with modly.
CONSTRUCTED: 5/5. This is one of Waters staple jutsu. 'Nuff said.
ART: I hate Roach, lookswise, but Ankos pretty hot. 3.5/5
OVERALL: 4.5/5: Play it or die.
Final Word: Play it if you have Water. If not, why aren't you playing Water?
Unless you play Mental. Mentals okay.

Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu

Pros: Take Out a Ninja
Two Cost

Cons: Give Up One of Your Own
Special Jonin or Higher

Again with the killing and the pain and the dying, but it works. Today we have The End of the Demon in jutsu form. This basically does the same thing as yesterday’s card except you have to go up a level of ninja and give up two chakra instead of charging two. If you have both in hand then The End of the Demon and Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu can seriously shrink the field size. You just have to be sure that you can give up ninja that big and that it’s worth it.

Constructed: 3/5
Limited: 2.5/5 (You’d only want to use this if you absolutely had to)
Art: 2/5 (I just doesn’t quite do it justice)

Twin Sacrifing Snakes

The Good

-Easy Destruction
-Cheap Cost

The Bad

-Element

Here's another water destruction card, Twin Sacrifing Snakes. Yet another card that will clear the board of any ninja you want, presuming it's worth killing a ninja on your side. With the potential of this card, it seems like it's just as good as End of the Demon. But this card is a Jutsu, and with that go all the good and the bad of Jutsu cards. This card can be negated, it caries a somewhat more steep requirement, and has a bad element for a Sp. Jonin cost, having none. It could work in a splash deck, or with Suien, but other than that you'll be giving up a good ninja, and that may not be worth it.

Constructed: 4/5
Limited: 3.5/5

Hey there again people sorry for my long leave of absence it's been about a month and I apologize but I was on vacation for a couple weeks then I spent the last week checking out the Gencon decks and how the meta is right now...but perhaps now isn't the time to express my frustration with the current meta.
Moving on..

Today's card of the day is:

Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu
Element: Water
Chakra Cost: Water, Colourless
Requirement: Special Jonin or higher.
Target: 1 Ninja battling against the user.
Effect: Discard the target.

Ok hmm....what to say about this card, as I stated earlier I am very

confused by the current meta and how people are coming top 8 with cards like

this in their deck. I mean it is an ok card if you build your whole deck around it. I.E. 3 Orochimaru , 2 Suien , Hayate , Anko Etc. But honestly no competitive water deck plays Orochimaru at all and the fact of the matter is

this card is a minus 2.

You give up:
- 1 Chakra ( Only 1 technique ally , because your getting one in your Chakra

zone after it's played.)
- 1 Card from hand.
- 1 Of your high level ninja.

Your Opponent gives up:

-1 Ninja of your choosing
- Possibly 1-2 Battle rewards.

So ok it's not bad but if you are building a competitive Water decks Water Vortex Jutsu and Senbon are much Better. Water vortex is a plus 3 and Senbon

a plus 1, plus two if you used Zabuza to kill opponent. So I believe this card is Mediocre at best and doesn't deserve to be in a top 8 deck nor competitive play. End of the Demon does the same thing, you don't have to go

into battle, it requires less of sacrifice. So take out your snake Jutsu and

throw in End of the Demon.

Anyways I requested a columnist position so I may talk more about the meta right now as well as my experiences currently with this game and a deck modifying dojo, where you may submit deck's and I will fix them for you.

Constructed : 2.5/5
Limited: 3/5

So goodbye and have a good one guys.

Today's card:
Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu
B 1
Requirements:
1 "Special Jonin" or higher rank.

Target:
User and 1 Ninja battling against the user.

Effect:
Discard the target.

Well. This card is a doozy, I think. You kill one of your high rank cards to kill one of your opponant's. So, kill a Kurenei or Ebisu or something, and kill an opposing Zabuza/ Gamabunta/ Fifth Hokage. So, it's good because you get easy killing, but it's too bad you can't knock off one of your runt ninjas, like konohamaru. You have to give a strong ninja too, but that's not too bad if you get to kill a beast. I think it'd be better if the ninja didn't have to be battling the ninja too. Ah well, we can't all have what we want.

Constructed: 3.5/5
Limited: 1.5/5 (Wayyyyy too few special jonins or higher to hope to pull some.)

Hey all, hope everyone is getting into the Holiday spirit, especially with the weather we're havin (As my fellow Pojo readers in the NYC area know), but rejoice, for it's time for Naruto's COTD for Dec. 5, and today's card is a rather nifty one for Water decks.

Twin Snake Sacrifice Jutsu-Common Water Jutsu; Costs: Water-1
Requirements: "Special Jonin" or higher Rank
Target: User and 1 Ninja Battling against the user
Effect: Discard the target.

Well folks, this card is pretty straight-forward. Right off the bat, you've gotta pay one Water Chakra, and another of any type. That's step 1. Step 2 requires for you to have a "Special Jonin" level Ninja, or any of a higher Rank, such as a Jonin, Or Sannin/Satoosa (Village Leader). If both steps are met, well, then it's really just a matter of who is annoying you now, isn't it? This card is the Jutsu form of the Water mission reviewed yesterday. (For those nauthgy kids who didn't read it, it was 'The End of the Demon'). However, the drawback to this card, is that you now need a higher Rank Ninja to make it work, Special Jonin and up. Overall, this card isn't too shabby. Lots of Water decks have that Zabuza to rely on, and once he's injured, being no good anymore, I don't think he'll have any complaints on sacrificing himself for the greater good, lol.

Constructed: 4/5 (A bit better than "End of the Demon" but gotta time this card even more)
Limited: 4/5
