Jonin's Intervention

Card Number: 106
Rarity - ST

Average Card Rating: 4

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the worst.
3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Beastly Bruin Jonin's Intervention

Wow. I keep reading this card to see if i'm missing something. But, I checked the official website for the ruling on it, and I was right. This card really is a step in the right direction.

It's the release of cards like this that let me know this game is going to make it.

On to the card. For the measly price of one Genin, you can drop Zabs, Kakashi, Kurenai, Might Guy, or Asuma on turn 1. Wicked.

There are a few draw backs, surprisingly. You may not have a Jonin when you get this card, so it may end up as dead weight or Chakra, but every card in the game goes through that at least once. Also, it's a Mission, which means you must play it before you battle. So, in essence, your opponent can plan around it which would suck in so many ways.

You'd want to play this card early, to get ahead of your opponent in field strength, but in early game, your opponent may not be opposed to giving up a few BR's to keep you from getting the effect off.

Late game is where this card really shines, though, so don't let the early turn count fool you. When your opponent can no longer afford to give up the charity BR's, dropping the extra Jonin on him may spell GG.

Caveat: Read the card thoroughly. If you use it and drop Third, Fourth, or Jiraiya, you're cheating. "Jonin" only. That could also be considered a detriment, albeit a minor one.

Constructed Fire/Fire Hybrid: 4/5 (Add .2 for every Jonin over three you run)
Limited: Starter/5 (If starters are involved, and you're drafting Fire, this card spells V-I-C-T-O-R-Y)

Raban

jonin intervention

Pros:
-jonin out turn 2

Cons:
-enemy won't attack?

I like this card, it brings a big new tech to the meta, being that, if youre opponent wants to get some battle rewards, he gives you a jonin. I love the thought, but if this card hits the board, do you really see your opponent attacking that turn? I love the thought, but the guys at bandai were lacking. I say just run the new jiraiya (ps), battling in (i cant remember) conditions, with a kono hokages grandson. Good thought though

Constructed: 2/5
Sealed 4/5
Art 5/5
