4/11

Kakashi Hatake [Copy Ninja]
Leaf/Male/Jonin/Sharingan Eye/Fire
Turn Cost 5, Hand Cost 1
Combat/Support: 6/3, 3/2 injured

Effect:When your opponent's ninja battling against this ninja gets additional combat by the effects of a jutsu card, this ninja receives the same additional combat until end of turn.

Just as with Sasuke yesterday, there are many Kakashis out there to choose from. However, this one also falls a bit short when it comes to turn 5 Kakashis. This one has the standard fare for a turn 5, but lacks an effect that really has any sort of impact on the game. Pumping jutsus are few and far between, and if anything this would just keep your opponent from playing one for a while. The effect is not even valid, which is another knock against this one. The early cards from PTH are just not as good as the ones now. I would recommend Energizing the Brain or even Sharingan Eye Kakashi over this turn 5. Obviously get Early Settlement Kakashi if you can.

Constructed: 2/5

Limited: 4/5: Can be a nice Jonin for your team, and there are a few pumpers in this format, such as Kunai and the like.

Beastly Mage

Kakashi Hatake (n023)

Beastly Mage reporting in. Today's card is another jewel from the past, and a good one in fact. The Copy Ninja is one of those cards you couldn't do without back when Steam (Fire/Water) was the main thing. It's still pretty good, though [Early Settlement] is a better choice... if you can get it...

Ratings:

Constructed: 4/5
Limited: 5/5
Art: 4.5/5 (he always looks so cool and relaxed)
