Lion's Barrage
Not too complicated of a jutsu. Requires Sasuke, but
fire decks and some others run three copies anyways,
and this jutsu can be decent lategame. Pay two fire
for 1 damage or 4 for two. If they block with a
jonin, you might force them to waste a Sharingan or
Trigram, and if you're using Sasuke [Power of the
Curse Mark], which becomes 5/0 when healthy if you
have 2 or less cards in hand, that might not be too
outlandish.
It's kind of expensive, but the damage is sure (no
coin flips, etc.). It requires a specific ninja, but
you're fairly likely to have him when you draw the
jutsu.

Welcome to another week of reviews. Today's card is
a character-specific jutsu. The new version of
Lion's Barrage offers damage in exchange for
fire-type chakra. Since it has 2 X's it means that
you must pay at least two chakras for it, meaning
you're gonna discard your opponent's ninja with
this. Problem is that only Sasuke will be able to
use it. But still, in Fire decks this can be useful,
particularly in Freedori decks since Sasuke is one
of the main cards (if not THE main card) in it. Try
it and see.

Lions Barrage
Today we are looking at the new Lion's Barrage from
Eternal Rivalry. It's your normal Jutsu pretty much.
Good thing the text on the card was fixed over at
Bandai or this card would've been pointless. Either
way, it requires Sasuke Uchiha as the user, which
doesn't help the cause out very much. It's an X/X
Jutsu which means in order for you to deal 1 damage
to your opponent you would need to discard 2 fire in
your chakra area, for 2 damage you would need 4
fire. Honestly, this Super will probably end up just
staying in the binder, there are much better choices
out there in terms of Fire jutsu cards.
Although, I sorta like the art on it. Other than
that, I think you will find out for yourself how bad
this card is...

with enough fire chakra...

The World didn't
need another one of these.
Yes, it can
effectively kill a ninja, but at a very high
cost: Four fire chakra to be exact.
I would just rather
8 Trigram a ninja to the top of the deck and
take it as a reward for two fire. That's much
easier and more effective. Sure, this card can
be used earlier because of Sasuke, but who has 4
fire on turn 1?
That brings me to
the fact that it can only be used by one and
only one ninja, which is never good. It would
be slightly better if it could be used by anyone
with sharingan eye, but no, that is not the
case.
In Conclusion:
Don't use either one.

(better here because the one damage can be more
useful, but remember to get Sasuke in there!)
