Today is Wednesday and we are reviewing Super Rares this week. The first is Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration. This card is a Tsunade specific healing Jutsu that returns to your hand after it is used. I'm not a big fan of specific use Jutsus and I'm not big into this one. First of all, the odds of pulling a Tsunade to use with this or to pull this when you have an injured Tsunade are slim. Most of the time, this card, like many ninja specific use Jutsus, are going to be dead weight in your hand, plus you have other alternatives that are just as good or better like Senbon, Palm Healing Jutsu and Healing Technique. This ends up being a collector's item or trade fodder but not something you want to play in a tournament.

Limited: 1/5(you have to pull Tsunade too to even use this)
Constructed: 1/5(there are better alternatives here)

Today we look at Mitotic Regeneration, yet another ninja specific jutsu for Wind (Sand Shield anyone).  It costs one chakra and heals your Tsunade before returning to your hand.  In most cases, this should allow your Tsunade to stay healthy, but your Tsunade can still die due to a complete defeat or effects from the likes of Zabuza and Chidori.  Since Tsunade has 8 combat, you don’t really need to worry about complete defeats but the jutsu can still be countered, leaving your Tsunade with 4 or 5 combat, a figurative sitting duck.

Though it has a nice effect, Mitotic Regeneration’s downfalls will keep it from ever seeing serious tournament play.  1.  It’s character specific and will only ever see play in decks focused around Tsunade (Medical Decks for example).  2.  It will eat up your chakra.  Healing Tsunade turn after turn may sound nice but it will soon drain your chakra, especially since it goes back into your hand instead of to your chakra pool.  3.  It’s incredibly situational.  You need to be have a Tsunade on the field, and for its effect to do any good, she needs to be taking damage every turn, in which case your just stalling.

Overall it’s just a crappy healing jutsu that won’t take the place of any of the established healing cards After the Battle, Senbon, and Iruka (Reward) due to its Tsunade requirement.

Limited:  1/5 (3/5 if you pull a Tsunade.)

Constructed:  1/5 (I would put lower if I could)

Art:  2/5

ok its time to review a card that some people at my local have been drooling over. Tsunade is so strong it will take a lot to beet her in battle without jutsu. Ok lets add this card to your lsd and she will never die. It would take trigram or vortex or something of that nature. The wind/earth female ninja decks get a plus. You have to kill tsunade with one go or your opponent will have her out till game.

4/5 in female ninja mental deck 3/5 in regular wind

Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration (j202)

Hello there, Naruto fans. Today's card is one of the Super Rare Jutsu cards from set 5. Mitotic Regeneration sounds like a good card. Healing the target can be a good thing, particularly when it's a heavy hitter like Tsunade. Problem is that only Tsunade can use this card. Upside is that this card returns to your hand, allowing for continuous use if you have enough Chakra. Try it and see.

Ratings:

Limited: 1/5 (kinda hard to get a Tsunade, though not impossible)
Constructed: 5/5 (but only in a Tsunade deck)
Art: 3/5

Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration Jutsu
Cost: Wind
Requirements: "Tsunade"
Target: User
Effect: Heal the Target. After applying this effect, return this card to it's original owner's hand.

Well, first of all, healing isn't that great to begin with. At least not in Jutsu form. In my opinion, the only healing effects worth running are Tide of the Deadly Combat and Iruka (Reward). Tide is so good because it can heal multiple ninjas and injure your opponents too (with no chakra costs or requirements). Iruka is awesome because it's a ninja with decent stats and can target and heal one of your ninjas in a pinch for no chakra (plus it can fight, making it efficient)

Jutsus that heal are far weaker because they require chakra, some have requirements, and their effects are limited to healing. Mostly in the game, your good ninjas are in more danger of being vortexed or trigrammed then dying, and Tsunade is no exception. As an 8/1 with good support, the only way she's going to get hurt is through Tide of the Deadly Combat, Dosu, or a damage dealing jutsu. OR, she could be vortexed. You're better off using the space in your 6-9 jutsu slots with something like Wind Scythe or Great Breakthrough, which are far more versatile.

In limited, it's a little bit of healing, it's super rare, and it's wind for hand costs. Grab it if you have Tsunade too, but I doubt it will ever help that much.

Smitty Sensei

Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration
Element: Wind
Cost: One Wind
Requirements:Tsunade
Target:User
Effect: Heal the target. After applying this effect, return this card to the original owner's hand.
Rarity:Super Rare

Hey everyone, Smitty Sensei here after a long weekend to review one of the S.R.s (Super Rares) from the set Dream Legacy.

To start things off, I think this is a decently nice card. The ability to heal a specific Ninja is pretty nice, but the downfall is that that specific Ninja just so happens to be a S.R. as well. This Jutsu's cost is cheap (chakra wise) which is another plus, and it goes back to your hand after you use it, allowing you to cycle it back into play repeatedly. I can see this being helpful for the new Tsunade platoon, letting you heal such a heavy hitter several times in a game. This can be great for "chump" blocking, as you can send the card(s) out to battle and repeatedly heal in a single game, as long as you have the chakra.

Not the best limited because it requires Tsunade, which is another S.R. It loses some points in the end for that reason.

All in all it's a pretty simple card, just be sure you have at the least two Tsunades in your deck before you try to run this card.

Scores:
Constructed: 3.25
Limited: 2.0
Art (Not counted in final score): 3.5

Overall score: 3.0! I know my math's off, but I feel that's the card's true overall score.

Thanks everyone, hope the review was helpful and I'll see you all later.

Wednesday -- Mitotic Regeneration--
========================================
Hello fellow Pojoers! Hope everyone had a good holiday. We are starting off the week with a card used by one of the legendary sannin; Tsunade.

Ninja Art: Mitotic Regeneration
W
Requirement: "Tsunade"
Target: User
Effect: Heal the target. After applying this effect, return this card to its original owner's hand.

+++Pros+++
repeated healing to Tsunade
1 wind

---Cons---
requires 1 specific ninja
-1 chakra

I really don't see this being so good as a super rare. I would use Palm Heaing over this; even though you can repeatedly use this. I wish this didn't take up a super rare spot.

Limited: 1/5
Constructed: 2/5

There is just so many things you could run instead of this for a better effect.
