Today's card is yet another starter deck exclusive.
This one, a new version of everyone's favorite Emo
Ninja, has built in Jutsu negation. When your
opponent plays a Jutsu card, you can discard two
cards from your hand and negate that Jutsu. The card
doesn't specify how many times per turn you can use
this effect though. Still, it's pretty good,
particularly since it also has all the Rouge Ninja
Sasuke stats. For a Fire deck, this card is just
right.
Sasuke (Complete Opening of the Eyes)- 3 Drop, 5/2
healthy, 0/0 injured. During exchange of jutsu, he
can discard 2 cards from the hand to negate and
discard a jutsu. Anime's favorite emo kid has a
decent effect. He has a built in sharingan eye,
inflated stats for a 3 drop, Taijutsu combat and
Rogue Ninja along with his usual Sharingan Eye
attribute. He is good, but he is not valid and is
USELESS injured. Additionally, he does not have a
rank, thusly eliminating synergy with any genin
support. I'd say he is amazing in mono-fire or a
Sharingan devoted deck, but there is limited appeal
outside of there.
