Beastly Mage

Naruto Uzumaki & Rock Lee

This platoon has seen a lot of play where I come from lately. A potential 7/3 Ninja is really good in any format. On the topside they've also got Clone Status, though -1 mental could hurt playability a little bit (unless you can make Shikamaru just go away...).

Ratings:

Limited: 3/5
Constructed: 4/5

Alright! Finally we get a decent card for the week!

Naruto Uzumaki and Rock Lee

This card is a beast, literally, and not just because of its effect. It’s a turn 2 that can be a whopping 7/3. Not only that, but you can drop all of Lee’s and Naruto’s jutsu with this monster. It’s even valid, and it’s stats don’t drop a single bit. Drop this card in with growthkage and it gets even more beastly. Even if it gets bounced, it’s only a turn 2 that you just let sit. I’m a big fan of this card.

If you're using a Taijutsu deck or eating Thai food, you're using the green Naruto and some Eyebrows.
Stats: Meh. I'd rather be able to use them seperate. NEGATIVE Mental...?
Oh, here we go. Every turn they stay in the villiage, they grow to 5/1, then 6/2, then 7/3. Pretty nice. Not the best card possible, not the worst, but pretty freaking good.

4.2/5
Art: If we got Kisame in there, it'd be a toilet paper party.
Tomorrow: My new deck!
Fun Fact: I had a friend who liked Rock Lee.
Funner Fact: In Clash of Ninja, I can never win with Lee.
The Poo Toucher Hello all you Naruto players out there, today we are covering the Naruto Uzumaki & Rock Lee platoon.

Naruto Uzumaki & Rock Lee has an interesting effect, at the end of your turn, if you did not send out this ninja, he gets a growth coin. The max he can have is 3.

This is a very rare card that only excels in an off element deck, this has been seen before with Kakashi Elite Squad with no Face and Gaara of the Desert Tragic Name. In the element of lightning you cannot afford to give up your Naruto Uzumaki, be it your Overflowing Chakra or Control of Power. Nor can you afford to give up your Rock Lee HSM or Berserk. So you may ask, what do I play him in?

I personally like him in mono-wind or wind earth control. Getting a ninja who can become a 7/2 while securing board presence is a very good thing, coupled with you are normally going to play one of the come into play effect naruto uzumaki makes him very solid. Mono-water could work, but with flex being all the rage in there I can't get behind a -1 mental power platoon.

Honestly, if I am going to play a platoon competitively, it needs to have a solid effect (Naruto & Gamabunta along with Shikamaru & Temari come to mind) so with that in mind, 1 of him if you don't run both naruto and rock lee and use a come into play effect naruto.

Constructed: 1 out of 5. not dazzling enough to make me want to use it

Limited: 3 out of 5. Multiple naruto and rock lee in here, so you're bound to get a few.

Art: 4 out of 5. Double Green Beast GO!

Until next time, truly yours, The Poo Toucher
