Beastly Mage

Kidomaru [How to beat the game]

Last card of the week is your Not-So-Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman. This Kidimaru is great. Sure, if you want to deploy him in turn 4 you have to get The Power of State 2 out. If not, he becomes a turn-5 with one hand cost. His effect is worth it, though. Flip a coin, if heads give a damage to an opposing Ninja... any Ninja, even one not battling. And he doesn't have to be the head Ninja in the team. In water, this can make a good combination with Zabuza [Demon of the Cloud Village] (think about it...). In Limited, this card can be good too.

Wyatt Kidomaru(How to Beat the Game).

Kidomaru's state 2 form. First of all, having to have Power of State 2 out to make him turn 4 and no hand cost is a little bit of a pain, but considering his effect, and decent stats, it isn't unreasonable to play him on turn 5 with a hand cost. His healthy stats are good, 5/3, and his injured stats are okay at 2/2, but he'll likely be a back ninja in most cases. Now, on to his effect. When this ninja is sent out to battle and opposed you can flip a coin, if heads you can deal 1 damage to 1 of your opponent's ninjas. Note, it doesn't say 1 of your opponent's ninjas battling against this ninja, as long as he's blocked, you can target any ninja with this effect. The bad thing is, it relies on a coin flip. But, your opponent will always have to think twice about blocking this guy, or attacking while you have him out.

Constructed:3.5/5(4.3/5 in Sound 5 deck with Power of State 2, add .1 for each Yukie Fujikaze in your deck)
Limited:3.8/5(hard to pull Power of State 2, but still playable and a good effect.)

Welcome Pojo'ers!

Today's card is a great upgrade to water decks, Kidomaru State 2. He has a coinflip damage everytime he's sent out and opposed. That's a 50% chance for damage to any ninja battling against him. That's a great effect.

People combo him with Zabuza, instant killing a ninja if you flip correctly. 3 support makes him even more playable. Great turn 5 ninja.

Constructed: 4/5
Limited: 4/5
