Yugao Uzuki [Sword for Vengeance]
Today's card marks the day when The Chosen becomes
legal for premier events. *Jumps for joy, looks
around, and sits down back again* For those who
don't remember, Yugao is Hayate's girlfriend, who
also happens to be an ANBU officer. Note her
alternate name is actually "ANBU". When Yugao is in
play, and you lose a turn 3 or higher Ninja after
being in play she gets a growth coin. Let's say you
use Hayate to negate a mission. He dies at the end
of the turn, she gets stronger by 1/1. On top of
that the effect is valid, but you can only have up
to two coins on her by this effect. For some, she
may not be playable since she doesn't have a rank,
but for many she's a welcome addition.

We finish the week with the tragic
girlfriend of Hayate Gekko, who finally gets a name.
4/2 on turn 3 is nice, though she doesn't get a
whole of boosts because of her lack of rank.
Her effect can turn her into a 6/4 if other Turn 3
or highers perish. This can work well in the
right deck. Is a 2/2 boost worth the slot?
I would have to say yes.
