Beastly Mage

Snatching the Weapon

Now this is a Jutsu card that'll see some play (at least where I come from). With Emina and Michiru Tsuki seeing a lot of play this card could fit nicely in a sideboard. The cost? Two colorless! It only requires a Chunin or higher-ranking Ninja to use it, but that won't be a problem in most decks. In limited I'm not sure how this will square off, but in constructed... be ready for anything.

Snatching the Weapon

Now here is a fun card. Chunin or higher rank, takes 2 generic chakra and you can steal your opponents mission or client cards! Having problems with Emina? Take her and use her yourself. Don’t like your opponent doing drifting clouds? Steal it for your own. Attack from the blind spots got you down? Make it yours. This card is nice and versatile with small restrictions and a cheap cost. Also, from the way this is worded, you can break the uniqueness rule when stealing one of their clients. Emina or Michiro x2 anyone? 4 Stack of TOWLW? Seems fun to me. In limited, I’m not sure if any clients or permanent missions will be seeing play, but in constructed this may end up being rather useful. At the very least, I’m sure it’ll be in the sideboards.

Matthew Low Monday 4/6 - Snatching the Weapon - Jutsu - Lightning

Cute card. Steal your opponent's Permanent Mission or Client! Sounds fun. But fun in this case doesn't equate to good.

First off, nothing in the card says that you can change targets, so all those kinds of Permanent Missions are out. Second, any "when played" effects aren't going to work since you're not playing it. Third it this card also relies on your opponent playing stuff to be useful. Fourth it also requires Chunin or higher, where likely you won't be seeing one until Iruka and on T2 you want to play Gaara first.

So stealing your opponent's Emi is dumb and you might as well play your own Emina or The One Who Lives Within, and use Anko as your removal. Sounds like a better plan.

While it would be extremely cute to use, it seems very situational and not exactly worth it if you pull it off. Would be funny though.

Constructed: 1.3 out of 5.0 (Funny but yeah... that's it.)
Limited: 1.0 out of 5.0 (No.)

Today we have a card that will likely put the Ten-Ten decks in the conversation of "tier 1". Snatching the Weapon from set 13.

For 2 chakra along with chunin, you can steal any in-play mission or client card your opponent has control of.

The biggest question with this card is going to be can you take a Client while you have a client in play? because the Ten-Ten decks really abuse Emina, so if Bandai rules it like Sexy Jutsu from set 3 (you cannot break the uniqueness rule with it) then this card will be much less potent, however if you can, then Ten-Ten will have a very strong answer to the chain lightning decks.

There are a few problems I see in this card, You have to use chunin, so you're going to have to load up on those and things like Gaara Tragic Name and Sasuke Uchiha Complete Opening of the Eyes (set 11) are going to be down-graded in the decks that abuse this card, that means the opposing chain lightning deck is going to have you on ninja quality. Another is that it does not effect the current battle, which means you have to dedicate deck space to a jutsu that does not impact imediatly.

Even with these problems, this card is strong, there are some clairifycations that I have to find out before I personally play this card but it is still a strong card, and I am excited to see it played. In Ten-Ten this will be a 2 of maybe even 3's depending on how your meta is.

Constructed: 4 out of 5. This is really powerful card, and it will only get better with age.

Art: 5 out of 5. Look at kisame! he's like "what do I do now" XD

PT
Mark Howard At first when I looked at this card, I thought "Great. We got another terribad card to review. The picture doesn't look to detailed, too, so that's the first sign it's bad."

Then I read the effect. You take ANY permanent Mission, or any Client, and steal it. Steal their TOWLW, their Reunion, their wahtever the hell they have. Almost for free, you get to steal those effects.

You also get to snatch Emina right out of their villiage. This takes the core of OC straight out, so you can watch it mill itself to death while you use Emina's effect. This card is great.

And you know what? It can be put in any deck. Though it is Sideboard material, it's great.

StormVyper Zera Snatching the Weapon

Ok, I must say that I absolutely love this card. For the cost of 2 generic chakra, your can steal any Mission or Client on your opponent's side of the field until the end of the game. Now, if this card can bypass the "1 Client per player" rule, then it's absolutely hysterical. I play Michiru, swing and Snatch your Emina? Seems like a good plan to me. This could make for a pretty interesting sideboard choice, but whether or not it can cut it in competitive play is left to be seen. I would definitely pick up at least 2 of these and hold onto them, because as more Clients & Missions are released, this card gains more and more desirable targets.

Limited - 2/5 (Don't know what's in the set that's worth the steal.)
Constructed - 3/5 (As far as I'm concerned, this card can only get better.)

Steven Dally Jr. Snatching The Weapon -

So today, we bring you a Jutsu to start off Lightning week.
At first glance, it doesn't seem all that great. But if you take a closer look,
you see this card has some potential.
Well the first thing that's noticed is it's 2 chakra cost.
This means that's it's fetechable by a one Tenten AW. Which makes most
smile. It's effect, summed up lets you go out and steal a client OR mission card.
So basically, it seems to be another silver bullet for Lightning, but I think
it could be so much nastier then that.

Of course it's only a side deck card, due to not knowing just how many
Permanent missions or client cards (that don't have their effect just shoot off when played) your opponent really has.

So to me, it's a meh card, something that if you love shenanigans, then I say
play the hell out of this card. But if you would rather have removal/damage jutsu, then don't play it.

But in the current meta, with so many permanent draw missions, it makes it interesting, especially in mirror match lightning.

Limited - 1/5 I don't know how many good permanent missions or clients we get in this set, so it might be a useless card here.
Constructed - 2/5 Because I could see people putting this in their side deck at best. But I don't know how much play it will see except in that random deck you face
and manage to lose to. xD

Sidenote - I love Kisame looking like "Hey....give that back....:(" Sad times for him. Lol
