Beastly Mage

Deidara

Welcome to another week of reviews, Naruto fans. I know, I know, I've been kinda MIA lately. I've just been wrapped up in some stuff. Nothing to worry about.

First off this week, we have Deidara [Plastic Arts]. It's pretty much the deadliest version of Deidara around, since for no cost you can put a Bomb Coin on any of your opponent's Ninjas. The only need to pay Chakra (two Earth to be exact) is when you want to give one damage to a Ninja with a Bomb Coin on it during the Exchange of Jutsu. Now, this version of Deidara can work nicely with his Jutsus, particularly those that give damage to Ninjas with Bomb Coins. In his own deck, he's a killer.

(Note: ratings take into consideration that this IS the Chibi version that'll be given at the Sannin...)

Ratings:

Limited: Promo/5
Constructed: 5/5 (In his own deck)
Art: Kinda creepy!/5

That Guy Deidara (Plastic Arts)

That Guy here, reporting for duty!

Woohoo, let's cheer for chibi's, that's right this week is chibi week. We start with Deidara, whom I must say looks adorable...now this Deidara seems to be built in with a cool injuring trick. Now I'm sure but I believe these chibi's are cards remade, and if so this card is clearly a keeper. Being able to place one bomb coin allows not only this card to inflict damage but let other jutsu's of Deidara kick in to topple your opponent's ninja. The two earch chakra is a little pricy but still acceptable, and all his stats and characteristics are acceptable if just over the mark.

constructed: 4/5
Limited: 4/5
Art: Anybody notice his turn counter and hand cost = Injured power and support! (Observation WIN)!
StormVyper Zera Deidara [Plastic Arts]

This card is absurd, but in a good way. This card can easily snipe your opponent's most problematic ninja and plays like that usually swing games. Not only that, but the mindgames you can play with this card are just epic. This card was always considered a pretty powerful card, and has been literally the main card that gave Earth an edge. Hopefully in the next set, Earth will catch up to this guy's level of power and we can all see what Deidara is really made of. And no, it's not clay. I asked him already.

Limited: 3/5 (The strict chakra cost can be a little steep.)
Constructed: 4/5
Artwork: I prefer the normal version, simply because it's an action pose and much cooler.

Hey there all, and welcome back from the holidays, today's first card on chibi week is:

Deidara N-480

Well this version of our Kazekage murderer is a godsend for earth. He's a turn 5 akatsuki jonin, with bomb combat attribute and almost the same stats as The First Hokage. An incredible ninja stat wise.

His first effect lets you snipe a bomb coin on any of your opponent's in-play ninjas, then his second valid effect lets you pay 2 earth chakra during the exchange of jutsu to give 1 dmg to any ninja with a bomb coin. He doesn't even have to go into battle, amazing indeed. He has a built-in jutsu in a way and he changes the momentum of the game if used correctly, he could stop a ninja effect from firing off or even stop a jutsu if the ninja already has injured status. Earth is now in up-rise specially with the coming of Emerging Alliance right around the corner and he will still be a big part of earth although he may lose popularity due to Yamato.

A godsend for earth and incredible stats make this ninja a must have in every earth deck... for now.

Limited: 3.5/5 (His effect will probably not fire off here)
Constructed: 4.5/5 (All he's missing is ambush)

Art: Small but dangerous ._./5
