Beastly Mage

Kisame Hoshigaki

Today's card is the latest version of Kisame. This one, a rare, has a great effect. It lowers the combat of the opposing head Ninja by that Ninjas current support in that Ninjas current status. That means, for example, if the Ninja has 3 support and 4 combat in healthy status, then that Ninja now has 1 combat in healthy status. The effect activates when he's in battle, not just when attacking or defending. Too bad it's not valid, but that would be an exageration IMO. In a Water deck, this is just too good to pass up. Try it and see.

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5 (solid Ninja, plus there's a chance you might draft his Jutsus)
Constructed: 4/5

Kisame Hoshigaki
[Inexhaustable Power]

Yet another set, yet another Kisame. Guess what, he’s still not that great. I’d still rather use Kisame to burn chakra than to take down the power of a head ninja. Besides, these little boosts or drops don’t do much in the long run, as jutsu cards determine the outcome of the fight. However, being above your opponent will make them fire off jutsu first, which I hear is a good thing. I always thought a fun combo would be this Kisame and the Kabuto that makes your opponent use their injured stats. Think of someone like Kakashi. 6/3 3/2. Kabuto makes him a 3/2, and Kisame drops his power by 3 for his effect. That’s a 0/2 Kakashi as their head ninja. Kinda gimmicky, and he powers back up as soon as he injures either of your ninja. But hey, not too bad.

Limited: 4/5 (In limited, those boosts do help.)
Constructed: 2/5 (Much better options for Kisame)

Hello all, today we cover our newest Kisame from set 12

Now if you're reading this, chances are you also belong to the bandai boards...meaning you've not only seen this card before but have most likely already formed an opinion. So I'll keep this one short.

IT's BAD! in more games than not the opposing head ninja has a 0-2 support value, otherwise it should be in the back. Then consider all the other ninjas named Kisame with the same stats.....add em' up and you have my opinon in a nutshell

Contrusted: 1 out of 5. If you're playing this, chances are you don't own any other Kisame.

Limited: 1 out of 5, not a lot of ninja's in the front have great back status.

Art: 4 out of 5. Purple nailpolish+Shark Man=win
