Beastly Mage

Fellow and Loneliness

Today's card is reminiscent (in a way) of a certain mission card from a previous set. Today's card gives one damage to each Ninja in a team of two or less. When combined with that other mission I suggested, you can basically kill lone-Ninja teams. But, this card only works for three turns, so play it right! It's also a Lightning-Wind mission, but at turn 4 there could be a chance you'll be facing some teams with a lot of Ninjas. But, it all really relies on your strategy.

Ratings:

Limited: 2.5/5
Constructed: 2.5/5 (I'd go for sideboard on this one)
Art: Kinda sad.../5

Matthew Low Thursday 5/7 - Fellow and Loliness - Mission - Lightning/Wind

This Mission has amazing potential. First off, it's a selective Disaster, as you can purposely team your Ninjas into threes (and make sure none die), and completely own your opponent's field on it's first turn. You and your opponent will be forced to play around this card, but you should already have your deck built for this ahead of time (Puppets?) and know how to work around it.

Oh, and if Gaara [Tragic Name] tosses a Ninja, he'll be in a team of 2 or less and get nailed. Hah.

As silly as this sounds, I'm likely going to throw a few of this card into my own sideboard (main board TBD). This card will drive some Tempo decks crazy, but also works for tempo, forcing opponents to team up, then dropping the Changes/Emi to clean up. And no one said you can't make teams of 1-2 to swarm, because if you win with the attack, it matters not what kind of field you have after.

Just whatever you do, if you're playing as Naruto vs Sasuke, make sure you win when you drop the card if you know your opponent is sporting this card in response.

Constructed: 4.7 out of 5.0 (Amazing tech potential, tempo and anti-tempo at the same time, could be a win-condition card as well.)
Limited: 3.5 out of 5.0 (Dual element makes it more playable and still deadly.)

Fellow and Loneliness

This iis basically my card. I called dibs on it. Fellow and Loneliness is an odd card, and also the Super That Shouldn't Be. To make a long explanation short: It obliterates all ninjas, leaves players with just one team that has to be full, and prevents villiages from growing.

There's no way to give this card a definite explanation. I probably know this card better than the other reviewers, and I still haven't figured it out. It's possible to make a complete lethal deck around it, but I haven't perfected it yet. Read this Bandai thread, it's about the development of my Fellow deck: http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?t=66743

3/5 (can't give it a rating yet)

Art: Pretty good.

Fun Fact: Why are Sasuke and Sakura younger than everyone else there?

Tomorrow: The guy behind the guy behind the guy behind that other guy. Do the math!
