Beastly Mage

Yugito Ni'i

Today we see the host of the Two-Tailed Cat Spirit: Yugito. This Ninja is just perfect for Earth/Hand Control decks, since when her team scores either a regular Victory or an Outstanding Victory your opponent has to discard one card from the hand. The effect is not valid, though she does have great stats (including Jonin and Tailed Beast Form). She's good in a dedicated deck. Try it and see!

=======================
8/11/10 N-844 Yugito Ni'i [Rage]
=======================

Today's card is the second version of the Two Tails jinchuuriki, Yugito Ni'i. Her first appearance in Broken Promises was very very disappointing, but this one makes up for it.

First off, she's a turn earlier and has better stats. The original was turn six with 6/2 4/2 stats which are abysmal for that turn. this version is 7/1 4/0 which is very good combat for T5. Of course, stats don't matter too much if you have a great effect, which the first one lacked. The original could possibly get the Two Tails out for you if she was injured, but that isn't too game changing since the Two Tails is a T7 ninja. The new Yugito has a simple effect that provides excellent hand control if your opponent chooses to chump you. Simple and great. Additionally, she has Jonin which is always great and Tailed Beast Mode, which is cool, but useless for Earth.

While she may not be the best choice for certain Earth decks, such ad BR control, she can fit well into other Earth decks and is a must for hand control.

Limited: 3/5 Awesome stats and good effect
Constructed: 2.5/5 Other options
Block: 3/5 Less options make her more viable
