Beastly Mage

Hidan

The original version of Hidan is a bit risky to use unless you know how to. Pretty strong for turn 5, he can stay alive for a bit longer than most Ninjas. No Ambush kinda hurts him. Three valid effects make him live up to the effect's name. He can't be removed from play due to damage. If your opponent manages to remove him (by effects), he returns to your hand. Those effects can be good. Problem? His first effect: auto-milling at the start of the turn!

In Limited, where the deck size tends to be smaller, he could be bad. If you manage to mill yourself quickly, it's game over. In Constructed, he could be good if played right.

Ratings:

Limited: 1/5
Constructed: 3/5
Block: 3/5
Art: Seems hairgel never dies either.../5
