Beastly Mage

Kiss of Death

Today's card is a good one for Chakra control. Simply enough, for one Water and one colorless, you can discard UP TO 2 of your opponent's Chakras. Then, you can move from your discard pile the same amount of cards to your Chakra area. Very nice effect, with no user requirements or anything like that. In limited, could be useful. In constructed, it's good for Chakra control (since it seems Water is inclining towards that direction).

6/2/10 J-664 Kiss of Death
====================

Today's card is pretty much the same as most of the other jutsu cards from Will of Fire; bad. While this card is not terrible, it does not help you turn around the game. It's sort of like Threat of Tailed Beasts in Jutsu form, which makes it worse since your opponent can just use a jutsu before its effect resolves, allowing them to waste their chakra before you do. Additionally, the chakra gained becomes nothing in the end since it only returns as much as its cost. It might ran for extra chakra control since Threat has been rogue'd to one per deck, but Stolen Bodies makes a better replacement in my opinion.

Limited: 1.25/5 Possibly useful
Constructed: 1.5/5 Better options
Block: 1.75/5 Fewer good options, but there are still better ones. Another one of those "might see play after Rotation" cards.
