Invasion of Akatsuki
Today's card is
another exclusive,
and one that'll make
a few drool. First
off, it's a turn 3
with no hand cost.
That's right! No
Hand Cost!!!
This mission is
fully permanent (as
in no time limit)
with two effects.
First effect: You
get to look for a
"Rogue Ninja" in
your deck and place
it in your Chakra
Area. Now, that
could seem like a
waste of a good
Ninja... until you
read the second
effect: All "Rogue
Ninja" and "Akatsuki"
Ninja cards in your
Chakra Area get
"Ambush". That means
that any version of
Itachi, Sound Ninja
Sasuke, and so many
others get that
really nice
characteristic. In
an Akatsuki deck,
this card is great,
same for decks that
rely heavily on
Rogues.

Today's card is a cool Akatsuki support mission, and
it's at times like this that I admit I just copy and
paste the card, which makes our preview cards that
much more work for me...and with that, let's take a
look at it's stats, shall we:

T:3 HC:0 Fire/Water
Permanent
Effect: When this Mission card's effect is applied,
search you Deck for 1 "Rogue Ninja" Ninja card and
move it to your Chakra area.
Effect: "Akatsuki" and "Rogue Ninja" Ninja cards in
your Chakra area get "Ambush".
It's a nice set up for Aka decks, and having no hand
cost makes it a 1 for 1, which is nice. But it also
continues to show off the deck's biggest problem:
Chakra Generation. Having all your ninja with
ambush is nice, but the deck doesn't build chakra
well as it is, so having more reason to not pay with
ninjas in chakra is harsh. I like the card, it's
just that Aka decks use too many permanent missions,
and other than Formation, there's not a lot to
capitalize off of with them.

Block 2.5/5 Cool here, but Aka decks already run a
lot of perms as is...

5/7/10 M-625 Invasion of Akatsuki
=========================
All right!!! Another exclusive preview!! For once,
we got a good card this time, or at least in my
opinion. This Fire/Water mission allows you to
search out any Rogue Ninja or Akatsuki ninja from
you r deck and put it in your Chakra Area. Then all
Rogue Ninjas and Akatsuki ninjas get Ambush. All for
no hand cost. This card is great if you ask me,
since it is sort of like LAR for water and in Fire,
it can grab a T4 Sasuke or [GiG].
This card is quite amazing for curving out ninjas on
any of your turns at T3 and up:
T3: Haku [Camo]/Sasuke [COoTE] (some people in my
area still run him)/Tobi (Chump)
T4: Sasuke [CH]/[StB]/[FB]
T5: Zabuza [BP]/[DOCV]/Kisame [FM]/[CB]/Itachi
[Goal]/Hidan
T6: Kakuzu/Itachi [GiG]
I for one, love this card mainly because it has no
hand cost. This card is a must for Akatsuki decks,
great in Water, and a decent Sasuke/Itachi searcher
in Fire.
