Sasuke Uchiha [Eyes Of The Serpent]
#N-1005 Reviewed Nov. 18, 2010
based on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 being the worst.
3 = average.
5 is the highest rating.
This version of Sasuke can be found in the new
Starter Decks. His (Valid) effect is one that makes
him a real killer. When a Ninja on your opponent's
side is either changed to injured or receives damage
that Ninja is sent to the Chakra Area. Plain and
simple, this effect can combo quite nicely with the
new Chidori (which changes a Ninja to Injured). He's
also got Ambush and pretty good combat and support
stats. Also, he's got the Genjutsu/Snake attributes.
He's pretty good for Block right now, particularly
at turn 5. Try it and see!

N-1005 Sasuke Uchiha [Eyes Of The Serpent]
Today's card is one of my favorites from Set 19.
This version of Sasuke is one of the strongest to
date. Sasuke has yet again another stat change -- he
is now 7/3 and 3/0 which is a nice change from his
original 6/3 and 2/1 turn five stats. He also has
Ambush which is perfect for no-hand water; however,
he lacks Growth which is a small con if you want to
grow over your Sasuke [-], [Severing The Bond], or
[Eyes Of The Hawk], most notably the latter. If you
could grow over [EOTH], you could nab the new
Chidori and then proceed to quickly annihilate your
opponent. Anyway, his effect (which is valid) sends
your opponent's ninja to their chakra area if they
would receive damage or changed to injured status.
Basically, this Sasuke is Zabuza [Demon Of Cloud
Village] on steroids. The first combo that somes to
mind is this Sasuke + the new Chidori. The new
Chidori injures one of your opponent's ninjas for
the low cost of (W) | (1) and can be used from the
chakra area if you have no cards from your hand.
There are plenty of other cards that will combo as
well, you just need to find them all.
