Beastly Mage
Choji Akmichi & Shikamaru Nara
This is another amazing Squad from Set 20. Together,
these two guys have two great effects (that happen
to be Valid) that can turn the battle in your favor
if played right. The first effect allows you to
negate the effects of all Ninjas blocking these two.
That is pretty nice when taking care of pump-up and
removal/damage effects. The second effect activates
when blocking: these two can block two teams at the
same time. When that happens they get a Growth Coin.
In a Mental Deck the double block effect works
great. They're not that hard to put in play in
Limited, and they're even faster in
Constructed/Block. Believe me, they're that good.
