Beastly Mage

Kakashi Hatake & Yamato

Today's card is another epic Squad Card. [Tag Team] is a perfect name for this teamup. At 5/5 - 4/4 it makes a good Back Ninja. Having Sharingan Eye, Mastery, and Tree is a cool combination, plus the 5 Mental can come useful when the time is right. Their Valid effect allows you to reveal the top card of your deck when they win any sort of Victory. If the revealed card is a Jutsu you get to move it to your hand... after giving one Damage to an opposing Ninja. So, this could make a Regular Victory seem like an Outstanding Victory, and an Outstanding Victory will bring along a little bonus. In Limited, like with every Squad, they could just be dead weight. They're better in Constructed (where the Kakashi + Yamato combo could bring them out quickly).

N-1053 Kakashi Hatake & Yamato [Tag Team]
==================================

Today's squad is one squad that you think Bandai would of made ages ago. The squad is sort of weak, although it has Mastery to make up for it, and the support is pretty decent. The squad is sort of difficult to pull out, since you'll need to be running Kakashi (Childhood) in Earth to consistently pull out the squad. Even if you pull it out, you'll be losing your Yamato [Control By Fear] or [Planning], which are two of Earth's deadliest weapons. So do the ends justify the means? Personally, I don't think so. The stat gain isn't too much, and the effect isn't consistent, however, it is still okay. Since it is a squad, there is no downside to run it if you have the room for it, I guess.

Limited: No Yamatos' previewed yet
Constructed: 3/5
Block: 2.75/5 [CBF] is legal here.
