Naruto Uzumaki (Suit)
Today's card is a "suit" version of Naruto. He's got
the same stats as a Timeskip Naruto (3/0-6/0, Clone
Status, Lightning/Wind) plus the suit...
Maybe having the suit is why he doesn't have the Oil
His effect allows you to discard (from your hand) a
Leaf Academy Ninja to put a Growth Coin on him
during the Mission Phase. You can do this as many
times as you want, and it's valid. This version of
Naruto fits well into the Academy/Suit deck. We just
have to see what the new set will bring.
Art: The suit makes him look a bit less
The next card in the Suit series is Naruto, who has
an effect similar to Suit Sasuke. Like Sasuke, you
need to discard a Leaf Academy ninja to activate his
effect. While Sasuke growths one of your ninjas,
Naruto places a Growth token one on himself. You can
use as much as you need in turn, which may not seem
useful, however, it has its purpose. Let's say you
have Shikamaru, Gaara, Hinata (Student), and Sasuke
out. With Shikamaru Suit out, you won't have too
much regret killing off your Leaf Academy ninjas
with high growth. You can place four growth tokens
on your Naruto in one turn by killing off those
ninjas in one turn (just make sure to kill Shika
last). This quick surge of growth can get you the
fast boost you need to win the game with Leaf
Naruto Uzumaki (Suit) n1071
First of all, we all knew there was going to be a
Naruto (Suit) in this theme, so I assume that few
people are surprised. When I thought about what
Naruto (Suit) might do, I never thought he would be
quite this good (granted he could have been better).
I like him because, in combination with Shikamaru
(Suit), you will get any Growth coins from the guys
he discards, that you can do it many times per turn,
and why will you care how few ninjas you have in
play if you can meet your win condition? A truly
Because a win condition for his effect doesn't exist
Because his name is Naruto and there's [CoP] and
He isn't the best T3 Naruto but, with the (Suit)
ninjas, he isn't bad.
