Sai
Today's card is a Super Rare version of Sai. This
version has Growth, 2 Mental, Anbu, and 1 Hand Cost
(which shouldn't matter with the Growth). His effect
activates upon being put in play. You get to draw
one card for each "Ink" and "Ink Summon" Ninja you
have out. This is good if you're running an
Ink-Centered deck. He could also work in an Anbu
Rush deck that includes Ink Summons (though the only
Ink Summons we have right now are the Lions). Since
he's Anbu he'll fit into that theme. Only downside
with that is that he's a Lightning with Hand Cost
(when most of the Anbus are Fire and almost all have
no Hand Cost). Could still be useful if played
right. Try it and see!

N-1115 Sai [Virtuoso]

Today's card is the worst super rare card in set 21,
in my opinion; however, he may become quite good in
the future. Originally, his effect was going to be
errata'd into drawing for "Brush" ninjas rather than
"Ink" ninjas, but Bandai decided to no follow
through with it. Since there are no "Ink" ninjas, at
best, Sai will draw you three cards if you have
three "Ink Summon" ninjas on the field. If it
included "Brush" ninjas, he would draw for himself,
and he wouldn't be too bad. Right now though, Sai
can end up being a useless card if you don't have
any Ink Summons out on the field. Additionally, he
has hand cost, so you'll lose a card from your hand
just by playing him.
Unless Bandai prints new "Ink" ninjas, this card
really is not worth running, since you'll have to
make room for the Ink Summons in your deck.
Hopefully though, we'll get some cool new cards such
as an "Ink Summon: Bird" or an "Ink Summon: Rat", or
anything similar. Then, Sai would be pretty good as
he could net you 4+ cards. But until then, Sai is a
pretty mediocre pece of cardboard.
Limited: 1/5 His effect won't trigger in this format
and he has hand cost
Unlimited: 1.5/5 There are many better cards to run
over him in this format.
Block: 2.25/5 Might be a decent card after rotation
if we get more "Ink" support
