Beastly Mage

Ibiki Morino

Today's card could signal the return of the Proctor Deck. When this Ibiki is put in play, you can reveal any number of Proctor Ninja cards in your hand and you get to place a +1/+1 Coin on Ibiki for each Proctor revealed. Rather than depend on how many Proctors you have in play, it only relies on what's in your hand. This can be good for a boost, Too bad it's only for him. Like I said, this could signal the return of the Proctor Deck (since it's the only deck he's gonna be useful in).

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 2/5 (more Proctors here)
Block: 1.5/5 (haven't seen the rest of the Proctors)

N-1276 Ibiki Morino [Tortured Words]
===========================

Wait, Bandai's reviving the Proctor theme? I wouldn't get my hopes up. Ever since set 2, we've been getting a Proctor cards every now and them, but there is never enough to make a theme deck out of it. Remember the Super Rare Shikamaru [Proctor?] from set 13? Remember how it saw virtually no play? So far, Ibiki will share the same fate. Unless they release some new PLAYABLE proctors, this card will be useless considering there are not other Proctors besides him. The current block legal Proctors are all unplayable and different elements, which doesn't really help either. Only time can tell if this Ibiki will be useful.

Limited: 1/5 (As of the time of this writing, he is the only Proctor this set, meaning he'll get +2/+2 at best)
Unlimited: 1.25/5 Even with the other Proctor cards, this card is still bad
Block: 1/5
