Beastly Mage

Earth Style: Mud Wave

Welcome to another week of reviews, Naruto fans! Today we take a look at a new Jutsu from Set 26. Earth Style: Mud Wave requires a Ninja who's at least T3 or more to be the User. For the cost of two Earth, you pick one Ninja Opposing the User in battle. If the target's Entrance Cost is equal or lower than that of the User's, then that Ninja gets discarded. But, this comes at a price. When that happens, your Opponent gets to move one of your Battle Rewards to their Hand.

As you may have noticed, this Jutsu can't target a Ninja whose Entrance Cost is higher than that of the User. There may come a moment when this Jutsu is dead weight in your hand. Mid-Game, however, this is a pretty good Jutsu. Discarding a Ninja in exchange for Tactical Advantage (AKA: losing a Battle Reward) can be worth it.
