Shikamaru Nara
Today we take a look at a new Shikamaru from Set
26. Right off the bat, we have here a mono-Earth T2
with 2/3-0/1 and 4 Mental. He's a Chunin with
Reviltalize, and his very Valid, effect helps that
mechanic. When he's sent out to Battle (be it to
attack or defend) you can reveal the bottom card on
your deck. If that card has Revitalize, then you can
move it to your hand. If not, you discard the top 3
cards from your Deck. Now, remember that Revitalize
helps you move cards to the bottom of your deck by
their own effect, so even if you don't reveal a
Revitalize card you'd probably insure the next three
moments you use this effect you do get to move a
card to your hand. He's good for that sort of deck,
having some good Support and a chance to hold on his
own as well. Try it and see!
