Today we take a look at a Wind/Water Mission that
would look good in a few Sideboards. Furious Tempest
is a T3 Mission with 1 Hand Cost that targets one of
your Opponent's Male Ninjas. The main Effect allows
you to Draw 2 cards. That's not so bad, since Draw
Power always helps. The conditional part is what
gets to you. Depending on what Symbols were present
on the card you used to pay for the Hand Cost, that
Male Ninja you just targetted. If you paid this with
a Wind card, the Target gets removed from its Team.
If you used a Water card, then the target's Power
becomes 0/0 during this Turn. Remember one thing,
though. This Mission only allows you to apply one of
the Effects, so even if you pay the Hand Cost with a
Dual-Symbol card you can only use one Effect.
Separating a Ninja from its Team is good, and so is
reducing its Power. But, this card isn't so useful
when facing a Kunoichi deck. The same applies to
decks that rely on Beasts, since they don't have a
Gender Characteristic, so I'll rate this for how
useful it is in a Sideboard.
todays card is a dual wind/water t3 h1 mission;
you can target 1 male ninja your opponent controls
and then draw 2 and if you paid a wind hand cost
remove target from the team and if water you make
his power 0/0
its got a nice draw and wonderful utility.
