POKÉMON ORGANIZED PLAY ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE 2006 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS DECKS

 

Players Can Learn Secret Strategies of World Champions

 

BELLEVUE, Wash.—September 15, 2006—Pokémon USA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card games, today announced the upcoming release of four official title-match decks from the 2006 Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) World Championships top finishers. The decks are card-for-card replicas of the most elite players’ decks.

 

The selected title-match World Championships decks were played by Hiroki Yano, World Champion from Japan; Miska Saari, World Champion from Finland; Jason Klacynski, World Champion from the U. S.; and Jimmy Ballard, second-place finisher from the U.S. The anticipated release date for the 2006 World Championships Decks is October 31. Practicing and playing with winning decks from World Champions will help players further strengthen their TCG strategies. Every year, a new group of top TCG players will have the opportunity to have their winning strategies immortalized through a World Championship exclusive deck.
