Loretta's Pokemon Toy Blog
August 3, 2007

FYI, one of my local Targets got the Pokemon shelves re-set. They had the IR control D&P starters; the only thing I didn't like about them was they use SIX button cell batteries, which aren't exactly cheap to replace. $19.99 for each character. Target looks like they will stock the Battle Dome playset, $49.99. The shelves continue to have pegs for the single and 3-figure packs, so, expect the new ones to come. There are spaces for the action Poke Ball toys and the mini plush which are currently stocked with the prior wave of toys. There are new pegs ready to receive keychains; I'm not sure what these will be, but, I now that Basic Fun had been stocking their Pokemon key chains at TRU. Lucario, Weaville and Bonsly were in the set I saw there.

Barnes and Noble just got in the _Sinnoh Handbook_; I'm confused by the Amazon listing:

http://www.amazon.com/Sinnoh-Handbook-Pokemon-Tracey-West/dp/0545000726/ref=sr_1_1/104-6354729-3311965?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1186083911&sr=8-1

as this item isn't noted in print yet (however, I had the same problem with the last Beckett's guide even though it's been on the shelf a while; I think Amazon was listing an update edition despite the fact that the Sinnoh edition just came out --

http://www.amazon.com/Beckett-Unofficial-Guide-Pokemon-Price/dp/1930692536/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-6354729-3311965?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1186084017&sr=1-1

and

My _Sinnoh Handbook_ was blue with silvery decoration around the characters pictured, Scholastic Press...

The news just keeps pouring in! :) Pi! Mi! ;D
