Products (Question):
Groundbreakers TFG boosters?

OK...

Not much to report lately, other than the new Diamond and Pearl manga from Viz that officially released this week; I posted a reminder on the boards for that. I've read a little way into the volume and it's been a fun read so far, Hareta's Piplup has some real attitude reminiscent of Ash's Pikachu-! Anyhow, I'm not sure if I've got a scoop or not because work and personal business have kept me from reading much on the web, but, PUSA is replying to my inquiry that the next expansion of the TFG is delayed until this fall! Whoa! This means if you have a Groundbreakers starter, you're in good shape; otherwise, you'll be waiting. Here's the official response:

> >"In order to ensure that the Pokémon Trading Figure Game:
> >Groundbreakers expansion launches successfully, Pokémon USA, Inc.
> >decided to release the product in Fall
>2008."

So there you have it. Anyhow, in the meantime, I noticed Target is having a sale on various Jakks items this week; beanies are marked down (to
$3.99) along with some of the figures and larger plush with sound (those were $12.99 marked down from $21.99!). I am going to take a wild guess that mebbe... just maybe... you might see some new Jakks items around the week of the Mystery Dungeon release, but, I could be wrong. I only say this because the last time we had a major DS release, I found some new beanies about the same time (I think that was the D&P release week...
:). Nonetheless, I will be keeping my eagle eye open at the store; just because I haven't net-surfed much lately doesn't mean I haven't been hitting the shops pretty much daily. Also, Target often does a sale to clear the shelves before new inventory comes. Let's hope! ;) Oh--and I was in a mall video store over the weekend and their upcoming list did have notes for Diamond & Pearl DVDs, just no final release date yet. I'll just have to settle for the Darkrai DVD next month to get my fix of Buneary (remember I don't have cable!).
