V Is for Victory...and Victini!

Just a quick picture to alert Pokemon plush fans that the Victini wave of Jakks mini plush, surely heralding the upcoming DVD release, is showing up at some Target stores.  In search of a Rainbow Dash My Little Pony toy at McDonald's on Sunday, I neglected to arrive at Target until after a tornado warning and hail storm later in the evening.  Alas, only a lone Patrat was left behind in a cardboard Pokemon case.  I drove to several other Targets but spotted nothing until Monday after work, the second Target I hit had an untouched box!  I passed on Patrat, Panpour and Woobat, but snared Victini, Deerling-Autumn and Lillipup for $6.99 each.  These will make great basket stuffers but I have a feeling the Victini will be a red-hot find judging by its price on Pojo sponsor Toywiz.com's website.

There are a lot of new TCG blister packs with promo foils showing up and an official sticker book to be found in the TCG aisle.  I also spotted a B&W theme TCG playmat at a Wal-mart; my local Wal-marts seem to have gotten in the new blister packs quicker than Target.  Spring tins are everywhere, too.  It won't be difficult for Pokemon parents to assemble a delightful basket with the abundance of items and these new plush showing up just before spring holiday!  Tuck a copy of the "Hop" DVD into the basket (releasing this Friday, March 23; Best Buy has an exclusive plush with the combo pack, quantities limited) and you're set!

Happy Spring Shopping!
