What can you say about the Barbossa ally card? Well, he’s expensive for an ally (Only 4 other Ally cards have a cost of 1 red energy) but like yesterday’s card, the effect is charging a zone, which is always good if you don’t have to play an advantage to get it done. If you manage to get Barbossa out early in the game you can have him charging your zones every turn or every other turn, giving you a strong chance of getting your signature move out there. If you think about it, that’s not so bad is it?

Since Barbossa is one of the more popular characters, and he’s a pretty good card, I’d give this single a decent value, probably looking at between $2 and $4 for this rare.

With a cost of 1 Red, this makes your opponent pick his fate. Which zone does he charge for you when you counterattack? Let them worry as you smile and get ready to play your Parting Shoot. It's a good effect for a low cost. And if your aiming for a theme decked, it's good to go.

A card like "Parting Shot" can make or break your game. For a pretty high cost you can charge your Red Zone. Which is pretty tough to do. However the Force is only as strong as the Opening Attack. If you play this card you need to make sure you have a deck that can back it up. Something that could help your Sig. move go off sooner. This would be a good card to have 4x of because the sooner you play it, the sooner you charge that Red Zone without having to defend there.

And that's always a good thing.
